Renew Your Caregiver Certification
You are required to renew your caregiver certification annually if you have any of the following certifications:
- National Caregiver Certification
- Advanced National Caregiver Certification
- National Assisted Living Manager Certification
- Activities of Daily Living Certification
- Master Caregiver Certification
You can renew your certification on this page. Please allow up to three (3) business days for us to update your file and receive your renewal certificate/s via the email address we have on file. If you would like to order an embossed gold seal certificate or updated caregiver identification card, and have these items mailed to your home, office or workplace, please allow up to 10 business days for delivery via USPS.
Don’t Lose Your Certification!
As a certified caregiver, you’ve devoted a lot of time, energy and resources to acquire your national certification with the ACA. So, don’t let your certification expire because you failed to renew.
When you don’t renew your certification your status in the National Caregiver Registry becomes inactive, and you lose your ongoing credentials as a nationally certified caregiver.
Remember, your certification sets you apart from your non-certified colleagues. And, when prospective clients, family members and other organizations want to ascertain your certification status they will contact the ACA.
They will want to know whether or not you are currently on active status in the National Caregiver Registry. The only way to remain on active status in the NCR is to renew your certification. By renewing your certification today you ensure that your certified status remains active, and you keep your credentials as a nationally certified caregiver.
