According to Nursing Home Abuse Center (NHAC), nearly 1 out of 3 nursing homes has been issued citations for abuse. Elder abuse takes many forms, including physical and emotional abuse, financial exploitation and neglect. The mission of the NHAC is to educate seniors and their loved ones on the appropriate actions they can take.
