At 7 years old, Evelyn Owens’ brave battle with cancer is capturing the hearts of everyone around her.
Evelyn was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare type of childhood cancer. It can occur anywhere in the body and be both aggressive and hard to treat.

Evelyn’s family traveled from their home in Oregon to Mayo Clinic in Arizona where doctors are using cutting-edge technology that’s revolutionizing cancer treatment for many patients like her.
Yet many say Evelyn’s best weapon may be an enduring smile that never seems to fade.
