Managing Caregiver Stress: Level 1

Providing caregiver services is one thing, but what if you find yourself overwhelmed with the job? What if you get to a point where you find yourself just burned out? No matter where you find yourself in the caregiver world, at some point you are going to discover that you are overwhelmed by either a combination of things on the job as a caregiver, or a combination of things in your life.  But, how do we deal with all of that stress? Where do we turn when we feel burned out? What should we be doing to prevent, reduce and manage our stress?

These, and many more questions have to be considered when we begin to think about the stress that creeps up on us in our lives, whether it derives comes from more personal related areas of our lives or within the sphere of our work as caregivers.
